Sometimes you need to use more than just your words. With a Google+ profile you can share photos in Hangouts. Best of all, Hangouts automatically saves your photos in shared collections so you can easily view, edit and share them later.
Smile. Wink. Ice cream? There’s an emoji for that. In Hangouts, more than 850 hand-drawn emoji can always help you make your point.
Scroll back in time in any of your Hangouts to relive your best moments together. Because everything’s in sync, your Hangouts will also come right with you when you get a new phone. For messages or photos you’d rather not save, simply turn history off in any Hangout.
With one touch, you can call a friend or a whole bunch. Video calls ring everywhere your friends have Hangouts. Whether they’re on their computer, phone or tablet, they’ll know you’re calling. If they’re not around or can’t pick up, Hangouts will let them know you were trying to reach them.
Put a smile on your face
Hangout apps and effects let you add a little more fun to your video calls from your computer. Add visual and sound effects, watch YouTube videos together, or capture a special family moment with a photo.
If you installed expensive software on your computer and you rely on your systems functionality, you should consider cloning your hard drive. The process includes the purchase of a separate hard drive in equal or greater storage capacity than your current drive and making an exact duplicate drive that boots your computer.
Also, if you own a business that relies on a server and its software and settings over your network, this solution is one to consider and worth the expense considering the benefits and safe keeping. Since most backups focus on data, this solution focuses on the actual system and its settings and configuration.
This process only applies to Microsoft windows operating systems since Apple has a built in backup utility that can do this automatically

We’ve found that the benefits of email dealing with customers is so great that we simply discourage phone calls unless absolutely necessary, or you are unable to access email from your mobile device or a working computer. We’ve come to this conclusion based on professional experience. Email makes more sense for the following reasons:
• It’s more effective. You are never interrupting someone; they can always answer at a good moment for them, not just when the phone happens to ring. And you never get a busy, or get put on hold, so your own work can flow freely. It’s a no-brainer.
• The act of describing the problem often leads to realizing what the answer is. This is a method well-known to technicians: describe the problem and your solution may become clear. So often, in the course of writing the email, our customers will see that they left out a step, or misunderstood something; they fix the problem themselves. This saves a lot of time.
• When we answer a support email, we can include detailed information for the customer to reference. We don’t have to depend on the customers’ memory, on auditory transcription, or on possibly inaccurate notes… for all of which we will be blamed later. This reduces frustration and eliminates most of the need for multiple rounds of messages.
Although many of our customers are used to calling for help, they are depriving themselves of maximizing time and efficiency by not sending a simple email message. For a much better support experience, send an email stating your problem in the best detail possible and you will get a prompt response with a solution or a scheduled appointment sooner than later.

T-Mobile USA Planning to Offer iPhone and End Subsidies Within 3-4 Months
Wednesday January 9, 2013 5:36 am PST by Eric Slivka
Following up on yesterday’s report about T-Mobile USA already having 1.9 million iPhones operating on its network as it moves toward a launch of official sales later this year, Reuters reports that the carrier should begin selling the device within the next 3-4 months. T-Mobile is planning a similar timeframe for its move to end device subsidies in favor of installment plans and lower monthly plan costs.
“They’re all, I would call them, in three to four months as opposed to six to nine months, [T-Mobile USA CEO John] Legere told Reuters in an interview at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
T-Mobile is also remaining aggressive on the acquisition and partnership front, with Legere noting that the carrier is looking to close its pending acquisition of MetroPCS in the second quarter of this year and is exploring deals with satellite TV provider Dish Network and prepaid carrier Cricket’s parent company Leap Wireless.
As for T-Mobile’s plans to end subsidies, it may not be the only major U.S. carrier to make the shift, as The Wall Street Journal reports that both AT&T and Verizon will be watching how things play out. Both carriers do, however, acknowledge that customers are so conditioned to low upfront device costs that it may prove a significant hurdle to overcome.
Don’t fall into the old paradigm of “it will never happen to me.” While there is certainly a chance that you will never have a need for the backups you make of your files, if something does happen to your computer you will certainly be glad that you have them.
What is a Backup, Anyway?
Backup should be an essential part of your computing experience if you spend great amounts of time on your computer and/or use your computer for important personal or business dealings. There are too many stories of people who have lost all of their files due to system crashes or computer viruses to ignore. When you backup your files, you are storing your files separately from your computer. In this way, if your computer crashes or is infected with a virus that results in a loss of files, you will still have access to your files on backup disks or whatever other backup program you choose to use, such as online backup. You can then restore your files to your computer proper from these backup sources.
Why Do I Need to Backup My Files?
Don’t fall into the old paradigm of “it will never happen to me.” While there is certainly a chance that you will never have a need for the backups you make of your files, if something does happen to your computer you will certainly be glad that you have them. And you do not have to backup your entire computer, although this is certainly something that many people do, but only the files that are of the most importance to you. Some things are easily replaced, and there is no need to backup these sorts of things, but those irreplaceable documents or files that are yours and yours alone should be saved in a place where they cannot be damaged. That way, no matter what happens to your computer, you can have security in the fact that all of your files are available in backup.
There has been a LOT of talk and chatter circulating about a well known IT Computer Tech Support company closing their business known as “Make It Work”. The company serviced thousands of customers from Santa Barbara through Los Angeles down to San Diego. This unfortunate situation has left ex Make It Work customers in limbo. Many of their customers are irate concerning their pending contracts and losing money to the business after abruptly closing shop. More importantly, since Make It Work did NOT allow their customers direct access to their service technicians, it has been a challenge to get in contact with the technicians they once trusted with their computers, data, and overall networks.
Due to the recent close of Make It Work’s business and services, Ron Patterson is gaining widespread exposure to his own business known as Tech Help LA.
Many ex Make It Work customers have diligently and hastily Googled and have found Ron Patterson’s whereabouts to get help with their computers for technical support. Ron states “By the graces of God I was smart enough to have the courage to branch off and start my own business that made more sense using better tech tools and embracing remote technical support”. Ron left Make It Work on good terms almost exactly 1 year to the day before their business completely failed. 34 Jobs were lost and payroll was still pending and unpaid. Company cars were repossessed and customers ranted in disbelief.
My Company has been in business now for over a year and the demand for technical support is growing constantly. Our pricing is as low as it gets for a trustworthy tech support company (See pricing). If you have been looking for me… Here I am at your service. Feel free to call and ask for me directly from our Contact Us page where you will find our business contact number and email. I pray for the individuals directly affected by the close of Make It Work. I encourage all of the technicians at Make It Work who lost their jobs to also reach out and I will see what I can do to help. At the very least keep Tech Help LA in mind as a reliable source for technical support, web design & development, social media services, and general technology consulting.
God bless you, your families, and businesses, and have a Happy New Year!!!
