An “Eye-Opening” Experience:
On Wednesday June 6th, our CEO Ron Patterson of Tech Help Los Angeles was invited to a BIT LA (Black’s In Technology – Los Angeles) meetup at the Google offices in Venice, CA.
Patterson stated that his attendance at the meetup was an “eye-opening” experience. He was impressed by caliber of talent in the room and the knowledge and resources that were available. Google welcomed the group and embraced their efforts to come together and chat about different topics in technology. The group consisted of software developers, programmers, project managers, designers, analysts, and more from Raytheon, Google, Microsoft, CBS, and other private companies.
Ron Patterson of Tech Help Los Angeles was delighted to attend this meetup and plans to contribute to the organization’s goals to build a community of African American technology professionals who are working with or interested in Web-based and related technologies.
